  1. Open Instagram: Launch the Instagram app on your mobile device. Ensure you’re logged into your account.

  2. Access Stories: Tap on your profile picture at the top left corner of the screen or swipe right from the home feed to access your Stories.

  3. Select “Live”: Swipe right on the screen or tap on the “Live” option at the bottom of the screen. It’s represented by a camera icon with the word “Live” underneath.

  4. Set Up Your Live Video: Before going live, you can add a title to your broadcast by tapping on “Add Title” and entering a description. You can also choose who can view your live video by adjusting the privacy settings.

  5. Check Your Camera and Microphone: Make sure your camera and microphone are enabled and working properly. You can do this by tapping on the respective icons.

  6. Add Filters or Effects (Optional): Instagram offers various filters and effects that you can apply to your live video before starting. Swipe left or right on the screen to browse through the available options.

  7. Start Your Live Video: Once you’re ready, tap the “Start Live Video” button to begin broadcasting. Instagram will notify your followers that you’re live.

  8. Interact with Viewers: During your live broadcast, viewers can send comments, likes, and questions. You can respond to their comments and engage with your audience in real-time by tapping on the comment section.

  9. End Your Live Video: When you’re ready to finish your broadcast, tap the “End” button at the top right corner of the screen. Instagram will ask you to confirm that you want to end the live video.

  10. Save or Share Your Video: After ending your live video, you’ll have the option to share it to your story, save it to your camera roll, or delete it. You can also choose to share it to IGTV if you want to keep it longer on your profile.
